| Following your brief of the machine and an outline of the functional aspects of its operation, we will start with the electronic control system design. Initially, a functional design specification will be prepared. This document will detail the main operational aspects of the equipment and any special functions that may be required. Operator controls, indicators and operator interface requirements will also be included. When the control specification is complete, the main electrical design phase can be carried out. This phase of the project will produce a complete set of electrical schematic diagrams drawn with the aid of CAD facilities. The final set of electrical design documentation will include schematics diagrams, control panel layouts, list of component parts, terminal layouts and cable core allocations. The final design is presented to the client on either paper or electronic formats. |
